The Decanter World Wine Awards 2023 results have just been released, and the 2022 Bull Paddock Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc has come out on top.
With 96 points, our Bull Paddock Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2022 was awarded gold, coming in as highest scoring Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and amongst the highest scoring New Zealand wines. The wine is described by the DWWA judges as: "Sumptuous peach, guava, lemon and lime with a lift of fresh herbs; intense and complex with a satin touch and a mouthwatering acidity. Long and delicious."
The Decanter World Wine Awards once again broke records this year for the most wine entries to date with 18,250 wines evaluated from 57 countries!
A notable mention to our Rohe Awatere Valley Pinot Noir 2021, following close with 93 points! "Complex dark cherry, bramble, dried herbs and charry, smoky notes with a firm backbone of tannins and a savory finish"
